Ways to Give

Deadmans Bay Path

Brandon Cooney

If you’ve experienced the East Coast Trail, you know what a treasure it is.

This treasure is made possible thanks to the ongoing support of ECT members, which helps us fulfill our mission, to provide a wilderness hiking experience by developing and maintaining the East Coast Trail, promoting public access, minimizing its impact on the natural environment and protecting it for future generations.

General Donations

The East Coast Trail is always in need of financial support to ensure we have the means to continue maintaining, enhancing, and developing the East Coast Trail. This starts with people like you, who love the ECT and want to see it grow. Consider a monthly, quarterly, or one-time gift today. Donations can also be made in memory or in honour of a loved one.

Trail Raiser Community Hike

On International Trails Day each Spring, we join together as hikers and lovers of the East Coast Trail to fundraise for and celebrate the amazing asset that is the ECT. This is a peer-to-peer fundraiser where you can create a team and collectively fundraise towards your goal. Then, on the first Saturday in June, join us for a day of hiking and celebrations. Registration will open in Spring 2023.

Other Ways to Give

The East Coast Trail Association Planned Giving Committee is proud to offer a variety of other ways to give including gifts of bequests, gifts of life insurance, gifts of property, gifts of retirement savings plans and more.
